The Roberts Stream 202

United Kingdom-based Roberts Radio has just released a nifty new gadget: the Stream 202. One of a new breed of radio devices, the Stream 202 allows its user to embrace a wide variety of radio formats ranging from traditional FM to streaming Internet content.

Via Stuff TV:

On the features front, Roberts really are covering all the bases with this one. So, if you get bored of the FM, DAB and web stations on offer, then you can always stream tunes from your PC via Wi-Fi, or even an ethernet connection if you’re feeling a bit old–school.

There’s even an auxiliary input for hooking up your iPod, and two alarm timers so you can use it as a bedside clock radio. Phew.

From the pictures I have seen, it looks like a small and easily portable device. It even sports a handle unlike many similar multi function radios I’ve run across. As the delivery mechanisms for radio content evolve, I predict we will see a continuing increase in production of units like this one.
